aunched in October 2007, CEO and Founder Ryan Thogmartin began building the funeral industrys first and only online publication/networking site. ConnectingDirectors.com began building a global membership base of the industry's most elite and progressive funeral professionals. Through discussion boards and daily updated articles funeral professionals are able to share ideas, connect with other directors and suppliers, and stay abreast to the always changing trends of the funeral industry.

In 2008, ConnectingDirectors.com started offering advertising options for funeral industry suppliers. Given the global reach of ConnectingDirectors.com, industry suppliers have been able to easily reach potential clients in a way that has not being offered by any other industry advertising venue.

With the explosion of membership and advertisers in 2008 and early 2009, Mr. Thogmartin was forced to expand the website to incorporate new features as well as new advertising options. In September 2009, a new and cutting edge ConnectingDirectors.com was unveiled. The new site is able to display advertisers in a tasteful and inviting way to the member base. Also incorporated into the new site, and a funeral industry first, are social networking features that allow members to create sub groups with in the site and also "Friend" other members like other popular mainstream social networking sites.

ConnectingDirectors.com is a progressive online publication/networking site for funeral professionals. Founder and CEO Ryan Thogmartin has a vision for where the funeral industry is headed and has used that vision to position ConnectingDirectors.com as the leader in online funeral industry news and information.

Through ConnectingDirectors.com funeral professionals receive daily funeral industry news, industry specific articles and podcasts, as well as share ideas through an industry discussion board. ). Through our news and articles we are educating funeral professionals about the changing trends of the industry, not only in the USA but also across the globe, allowing them to stay informed and aware of the needs of their client families so they can better serve them.
