Members, I am seeking your feedback on a few items. The first item is the "Feature Sponsor Welcome Message" that auto plays when the homepage is loaded. I am in the “middle” on this one. I think it might entice potential advertisers to sponsor our site, which is how this site supports itself since memberships are free. But I don't want to "push" ads in your face and annoy you as a member.

I have given each advertiser the option to upload a video to the featured media section of the homepage, which you can choose to or not to view. This feature I don't think will be a problem.

Any other feedback on the site as a whole would be greatly appreciated. Do you like the Connecting Directors store featured on the homepage? Should we do give a ways with Connecting Directors gear? Would you like me add a chat room to the homepage? (I ran this feature for a few days about two weeks ago). These are all questions I would love feedback on. Please feel free to email me at ryan@connectingdirectors.com.

Thanks for reading. Your feedback, good or bad, will be received with open ears.

Happy Holidays,

Ryan Thogmartin

The auto running audio is awful. It would be great if I had the ability to play it if I wanted to hear it - but it should be MY choice, and I should be allowed to take into account who's in the room at the time, what time I'm listening, and most importantly - my speaker volume. Just before I went to the CD home page this morning, I was rocking out - loudly - to one of my favorite Christmas tunes. I about hit the ceiling jumping out of my chair when I heard the voice.

BUT - I noticed that sometime in the last few hours the default is volume of, so it looks like a good compromise - the ad is there, but it is set to mute. Thanks.
