Should you get you Embalmers license along with your FD license of due most firms not worry about you also being a licensed embalmer?

Hey Ryan,

Here in VA you have no choice you have to have both. I know that in some states they have a seperation. I think that I really like them combined due to the fact when I deal with the families I have "hands on experience" in both fields.

I also find it very helpful when I am doing public speaking on this subject to have that hands on knowledge as well.

How many states still allow for the seperation of the 2. Ron

Here in Michigan, in it is a dual license. You have to be both director and embalmer. No seperation.
