Highly successful Casket and Funeral Supply Company is searching
for a territory Sales Rep to sell the company product/programs
to existing customers, potential customers and members of sales
networks. You will participate in the development of sales goals
and objectives for the Washington DC geographic sales territory,
based upon knowledge and the competitive nature of the
marketplace.
Here are additional requirements:
*Routes and schedules activities carefully for efficient
and economic use of time
*Reviews and maintains accurate account records
*Consistently achieves assigned quotas
*Work with and assist customers with the return and/or
replacement of damaged product
*Prepare, document and submit all required paperwork,
reports, forms and related information so as to verify the sales
activity that the sales representative participates in on behalf
of the company.
*Amend, participate in and represent the company at
product conventions and other business related meetings.
*Performs other sales related duties as required.
Sales rep must have the following knowledge, skills, and
personal traits:
*Excellent working knowledge of MS products and the
internet.
*Knowledge of funeral service a plus excellent
prospecting skills
*Solid account management skills,
*Strong organizational skills
*Excellent communications skills,
*Good listening skills
*Good question techniques
*Highly self-motivated
*Strong ego drive
*Resilient
*Detail oriented
A degree is sales and marketing is preferred, but not
mandatory. You will need a proven track record of success with
3 plus years of direct B2B product or service sales. Candidates
must be able to drive long distances and must reside in the
territory.
Overnight travel may be required and you must have a valid
driver’s license.
Pay will start with a salary in the $60-70K range and will
eventually become straight commission once new rep is trained
and has been working in the territory for a period of time.
