I am curious to findout what the trend has been in different parts of the country. Is business picking up at all this year? How are you numbers comparing to last year? When is your business the most busy? Let us know where you are located and how your business is doing this year. Posted by:

We are located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and we are the slowest during the summer months. Everyone around us is slow too, which makes it a little easier to bear. There is just something about slow summers and busy winters... |

It is amazing to be how that pattern (slow summer, busy winter) holds up all across the country. The last two weeks for us have picked up a little, but still not great overall. We are either really busy or really slow.

I work in a north Mssouri town of about 4000 with two funeral homes. They did 37 calls last year. I moved here in March, we are up to 61 so far for this year. We slowed down some in the summer, but did at least 1 a week. With a cemetery we always have something going on. We also do some trade embalming. |
