Funeral Assistant/Admin/ Entry Level Sales

I am considering a career in the funeral services industry. The corporation I am currently employed with has and is downsizing. I need to be in a recession proof industry. I live in the Metro Detroit, MI area. My background consists of several years of customer service, excellent multi-line phone etiquette, data entry(MS Word, Excel, Outlook), very detail oriented, troubleshooting, and documentation of problem calls. If working for a supplier I would desire to have a full time position in an administrative/clerical capacity or entry level sales. Another position I would consider is being a Funeral Attendant / Secretary for a local funeral home. I possess a fierce loyalty to my employer, a high degree of morals and a strong work ethic. I would appreciate any advice as to how I can achieve this goal.
