Yes, Greetings from North Texas the land of wild pigs, longhorn cattle, and no cell phone service. I live in Bonham Texas, which is famous for John Wesley Hardin (gunfighter) and Sam Rayburn (Speaker of the House under eight presidents). I am from North Central Oklahoma, where there are no trees, and the wind that lives there makes the wind in Chicago seem like a summer breeze. I attended the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and graduated in 2001 (this is my second career, and it does not give me headaches like running a small insurance company did) and have been working at Wise Funeral Home in Bonham since Dec 2005. Wise Funeral Home is 100 years old this month, and does about 130 cases per year. I am one of four funeral directors/embalmers at this firm, with only three plying the trade (the owner is a true 'figure head' and usually shows up at funerals to open the casket). Anyway, that is who I am. Steve |
