CT Funeral Director/Embalmer
Exciting opportunity available in a family owned and operated
funeral home located in beautiful Connecticut town. Funeral
director will be responsible for all duties typical to a
licensed employee, which includes taking first calls, meeting
with families, embalming, directing, general maintenance and
cleaning, etc. Applicants must have superior communication
skills, excellent embalming skills and must be extremely
detailed oriented.
Funeral home was established in 1894, serving all faiths in the
in this bedroom community. Current owner purchased this
location in 2005 and has a reputation for providing exceptional
service with outstanding attention to detail and continues to
differentiate themselves from the competition. Current owners
are looking to expand in the near future and are currently
serves approximately 150 families per year. They are located
close to the Long Island Sound and the Connecticut River and is
considered one of the most picturesque towns in New England.
With incredible outdoors activities along with the historical
and cultural setting, this would be a wonderful place to raise a
family.
Pay range is $40-50k, depending on experience and quality of
interview. Benefits are negotiable, and can include a
retirement plan, use of a company van, and insurance
commission.
Applicants must be licensed in the State of Connecticut or have
the experience and education needed to reciprocate. Must be
open to relocation if not living within 15 minutes of funeral
home.
